today, PFC lost again. 1-3 this time round
morale has dipped to one of our lowest point
we were just not playing right

the team has been playing together for around 11 years
when we finally joined the ESPZEN league this year so as to play more competitive football
commitment to the team is one of the major reason for us to stay in the league, or so i think
we have a healthy squad of around 26, but can only manage less than 15 at times.
with 1/4 of the season left and the recent spate of losses, the commitment of the team has come into question

are we just in the league physically to play some ball or are we in to win something
because if we have no motives to play in the league, we can just play friendlies
you can come, kick some ball, lose some weigh and catch up with your friends (winning is no longer important and you can come as and when you like because there is no commitment to it)
and it is also way cheaper.

anyway the decision whether to continue anot will be discussed in the dinner
i will be the first to vote for a yes
quitting the league would be a step back
and it also mean more work for me. haha
it will be back to the days where I have to find opponents, referees and pitch
and it's frustrating to hear people complain about the condition of the pitch and stuff

after a talk by daniel after the game, i hope the players are more pscyhed up
we have to start churning out the results and end the season on a high

Land of Smiles (Hidden) and no lights

1st Day:
Arrived in Bangkok with Kx Mel Hong Jl Susy Kimmy Karin and Phyllis.
Susy's uncle together with her brother and his friend pick us up in a hello kitty bus.
Went to Baiyoke Boutique hotel to leave our lugguage before heading out to pray at the four face buddha.
Then it's shopping at MBK and Bonaza. Had a shirt tailored.
1st suey thing happen: Karin realised she lost her envelope of money when she wanted to buy some cosmestic, while waiting for the hello kitty bus to pick us up (Girls can really shop, anywhere).
Went back hotel to rest and wash up for Route 66.
Route 66 music was nice but there is no dance floor, so no chance for me to hook up the pretty thai girls. lol.
The best thing is it flood!
We have to stand on this divider railing and the staff have to push us across the flooded road.
Some of us got wet anyway because we were playing water like children.
Took a cab back and I had to suffer a double whammy of sehness and stomachache.

2nd Day:
Chatuchak!! I must say its the best place during the 4 days.
Mel was super suay, he either had a hangover or food poisoning, he was feeling sick the whole day.
Bought a straw hat, towel and fan to complete the hawker look. Also bought a bermudas, a shorts for Pattaya and 2 singlets. We didn't even walk finish and left for MBK to try our tailored stuff. My shirt was okie but the pants for the rest still need some alteration, so we asked the tailor to alter and send to our hotel. What nice service they have.
Night time is shopping at Suan Lum and Pingpong show at Patpong.
We took a taxi and instructed him to Suan Lum, however he had other ideas.
Kept tell us those shops at Patpong are governed by the mafia and that he could bring us to this place for only 500baht.
We kept telling him Suan Lum first but he still bring us to this ulu place which looks suspicious.
We left on a tuktuk, my first time, for Patpong.
Went to the Naraya shop and Jl saw his friend.
They agreed to joined us for the pingpong show.
I must say PORN is better! lol.
After confirming that drink and watch is 100baht, we went to 2nd floor for the show.
Damn, the girls are fat and ugly and definitely not worth any shit.
After a while, the bombshell dropped.
The first drink cost 300baht and special show is 1000baht. Jl argued with this woman and then we decided to pay 300baht and leave. At the counter, however this guy told us its 500baht. Someone overheard him mentioning 'I break your leg'.
In the end we paid 300baht and left, cursing our very bad luck.
The four face buddha probably didnt hear our call. Haha.
We then went to Suan Lum, pretty nice place. Neat and tidy.
Bought a mug.

3rd Day:
The sueyest day ever. Went to Pattaya, the lousiest even of the trip.
Banana boat was okay, kept crashing into the water and I nearly lost my bottom. Hah
Then the super suey thing happen.
I was flying up high in the air holding to the parachute that was attached to the speeedboat while the rest was speeding on their jetski.
Then one of them bump into the other jetski.
The guy quoted a crazy amount of 16000 baht then later dropped to 12000baht.
A few of us still thought it was 1200baht only. Then we went back to get our money and realised the huge amount. All of us didnt want to pay so much because its extortion man.
Then we come out with 5000+ and Susy's uncle told them we had no money. After come to and forth for another 2 times, we finally settled on 7000baht, a whopping $300SGD, that would buy me another 10 times on the parachute thing.
Had dirt cheap KFC for dinner and back to hotel.

Last Day:
First trip was to chinatown. However, we took the tuktuk which bring us to this sell gem place so that he can earn stamps and fuel vouchers. 50 stamps would earn him a television. Bought a bracet for mum.
Mr nice tuktuk guy was like a tour guide and told us what are the buildings along the way.
He even show us his wife photo and he seem so happy just to be able to provide for his family even though he is not earning much.
Went to this dim sum restaraunt for dinner we ordered an insane amount of food for only ard $100 odd.
Then its off to buy the local food stuff. Ahhong die die must go to this shop which he went the last time round.
Luckily we found it and then we realised MBK sells them at a cheaper price.
Then its off to Platinum, the girls had to shop there. Its like heave for them. Lol.
As for we guys, we left for centerpoint (not the one at Yishun, haha). We walked around aimlessly as we were too tired. Met up with the girls ard 630pm, then it's off to the hotel to pick up our bags.

Bye bye Bangkok. I will miss your beautiful ladies (not that I seen alot), your cheap food and shopping (didn't buy alot also)and also the cheap taxis (never more than 100baht after bargaining).

However, I will not miss your fat naked pingpong ladies (they need to have better figure, try Marie France, think Christy Cheung), your extortion skills (your jetski will crash and burn) and also damn weather.

how time flies.
the 3 days long wkend just ended so quickly
and i played soccer on all 3 days. haha
lao giap org a buffet dinner at the TUNG LOK restaraunt @ paramount hotel on sat.
i must say it is pretty successful, we had 16 ppl. when was the last time pfc ever had such dinner (except the recent end of season bbq) i don't even rem.
the food was okie only.but the service is very bad.
we r suppose to tick what we want on the paper. however we r not served what we ordered. worst still they keep serving the next table instead of us. they had like 4-5 dishes and we had like 1 only! and the attitude aunty stil have the nerve to ask us to eat from that table. we paid for buffet not to share man. kenny got so pissed that he went to complain to the manager.
we paid $33.9+++++++$3 for free flow drinks. totally not worth it, somemore from a restaraunt reputed for gd food.

anyway since i last updated, everything has been the same
work till at least 7pm everyday, go home bath eat play game watch tv till 12 slp.
and the process stay constant from monday to thursday.
slight change on friday when i probably go out after work.
sat is either soccer go out out or just go out.
sunday is definitely soccer go out or just soccer.
how predictable my life can be.

back to soccer.
newcastle playing the in the coca cola league is not what i envision them to be.
however base on current form and matches still to play, it just don't look good.
if we don't win the next 5 matches against other relegation battlers, we r sure going to go down.

PFC is finally going to join an amateur league in july. time for us to improve. response has been ok so far. i just hope that the players r committed to play in the league when it comes.

im intrigue when someone question my passion about soccer.
all because i don't reply to a message (36mins late to be exact)?
if someone is late for soccer, should i question him of his passion (but he might be tied down by sth, eg. running last min errands, toilet business or maybe mopping the floor).
if someone is to reply late for soccer attendance, should i question him for his passion (but he could be sleeping, busy with work, or simply have not seen the message).
if that is so, wouldn't i be questioning everybody's committment,passion, or whatever from their actions.

before i jump into anymore conclusion, i should go and reflect on myself. i could be guilty of anything like this. its quite nonscensical actually.

batam fun

mel hong dg and me went for a short trip to batam today.
luckily mum called aunt and told her that we r coming, so she came to fetch us.
reached the batamfast counter in harbourfront at ard 820 as we intend to take the 930 ferry.
however, we were told that the 930 ferry is full even though the real time feed states that it is still open for booking. (what is the purpose of the real time feed on a big LCD monitor for, i wondered. i even mentioned that the colors they used are quite nice).
anyway we bought the 11am ferry and went to Mac for breakfast.

went to the batam center megamall to shop for a while and had A&W before aunt came to pick us.
i used to go to batam every year when i was young.
and i realised i had not been there for at least 8 years because aunt moved to the new home for 8 years and i had not been there before.
we went to aunt house for a while to see see.
was suppose to go for our massage when aunt suggest we go to 4th uncle new home.
a freaking big house.
we arrived to see a door at least 3-4m greeting us
every door inside is at least that high
the first floor has a mj room, a full ktv room with the latest songs and the living room has a tv thats like 60-70 inches.
the back garden is pretty big as well. however it overlook a jungle.
then we went up the spiral staircase that lead to a smaller living room. all the 4 rooms had attached toilet and even a jacuzzi in the master bedroom toilet.

aunt then send us to the massage centre.
we had a 2hrs session and it was quite painful sia.
and it costs only ard $21.
we then had a quick dinner and some POLO shopping at batam centre before catching the 730pm ferry back.

must start planning a night stay at uncle hse liao.. hahah

though the aussie dollars has crashed, he still earn aprox 20odd grand sgd a month.
his property in china which he bought at 1mil rmb is now worth 7mil rmb
the rent is giving him 1k+ sgd a month
he intend to migrate to Qing Dao in China because he thinks sg is a very stressful country
i wouldnt be that stress if i have so much passive income
oh, and he just send me home, adding $13.20 to his wealth.

anyway i've signed a contract with the company and confirmation of probation is pending my medical. it sux to have to go through probation period because it means missing out on the decemeber 13mth bonus. although it's prorated, it's still better than nth. and also i might miss out on the aws which i heard is in jan. i also do not enjoy any leave or medical claims during the probation. DAMN!

at least im assured of a job in this bad economy.

im 24!

celebrated my bday at jacks place.

we waited ard 1hr b4 our food came.

it was ard 45mins when we asked this attitude aunty (who looks more like a SBS bus captain) about our food.

coming soon was her reply.

however moments later, she came back and said that they lost our order!!

how the fuck can i take it when its my bday and everybody is famishing.

i demanded to see the manager and soon this nice guy came.

he apologies and asked us to give him 15mins so that our orders can be processed.

he also mentioned that we will be given 50% off for our orders ( thats y he is a nice guy. lol).

soon 1 waiter brought glasses of coke to our table - complimentary.

the food was okay only, nothing fantastic.

but anyway, another waiter brought cups of ice cream to our table - complimentary as well.

the total bill came up to around $110+.

so damn cheap.

it was my treat because they brought me a Emporio Armani watch.

anyway i asked them to buy one. lol

we ended the night after a drink at alley bar.

Kx once said we can only go as fast as the system can.
I realised that it is so true.
The time spent waiting for the system to load and stuff, i probably have finished 1 facial treatment.
And my backlogs keep piling up.
I can't even properly process my current payment when I have so many backlogs which my heavily pregnant colleague left behind.
Can you believe a company so big can still owe their suppliers money dated back to 2006.
And the person processing all these payments is giving birth to her 2nd child in as many years.
That is 3mths + the newly added 4mths + all the childcare leave and whatever leave.
If only the system could be faster.
Then my life would definitely be better.

Lazy X Ignorant with an attitude. Bad attitude that is.

Clubbing was always met with lazy or ignorant bouncers and staff. Yesterday was at St james. Met up with Dan earlier in the day to collect 2 free tix to St James. Dg had won the tix from a lucky draw which he had not entered from UK Primeland. Since he seldom club, he asked the person to give me the tix.

At the queue, I showed the bouncers the 2 tix. Ignorant no. 1 - he probably has not seen the tix before and checked with his colleague. Ignorant no. 2 - his fellow colleague probably has not seen the tix before as well. But they decided lazily to go ahead with what was written on the bottom of the tix. It says something like this portion of the tix can be used to redeem 1 drink.

Ok, Dan and me then went inside to the cashier area. Ignorant no. 3 - the bouncer put his hand out and so i happily pass him my cc. He then went on to swipe at the machine. However the machine doesn't response to my cc. There is nothing wrong with my cc because the the machine is not meant for cc. The bouncer then went to get another colleague. He came, looked at the cc and give me an attitude face and then said 'you give me your cc for what?', and walk away. I was like how the fuck I know.

Luckily their ignorance did not spoil the day as Dan and me drank the night away.

I had initially wanted to used stupid instead of ignorance. Then I rem Jl telling me stupid is a strong violent word. So... hahah

Sad, my laptop is officially dead. Earlier diagnois by the customer service officer at the repair centre was that my motherboard is spoilt. However HP just called me and told me that my processor is also spoilt. The total damages add up to around $1.1k. Guess I have to stick to my desktop till September for the IT or whatever fair. Dear Hewlett Packard,

You just pissed off a customer today. Having a laptop in a non working condition is already bad for the customer, and you have to further add on to the misery with your lousy customer service. Your call centre I supposed is situated in India. Nevermind the accent because I live in a multuicultural country and got used to it. But please do something about the CSO's service and the super long lag time for the long distance call. She was polite even though she had to repeat herself as I couldn't catch what she was saying. But she kept silence half the time after I have replied, and kept asking me to restart the laptop and press f10 to go into bios. I've already told her the screen is not loading and that it doens't go into bios after pressing f10. Either she could not hear what I said because of the lag time in the call or she simply want to piss me off. Either way, the call got cut off because my handphone used up its juice. So please go and improve your call centre or maybe move them nearer to Singapore, like Vietnam or Thailand. They do provide cheap labour as well.

Just when I thought that I should be more proactive in looking for a job today, my companion of 2 years broke down. It was so trustable during my SIM days, but it became cranky quite often lately. Today it beep thrice when I power it on. Because of this, I have to use my aging desktop with the almost defunct 17-inch monintor. That's right, I haven got a LCD.

Then I message friends and search the net for some answers. I found out that it could be my ram problem. Being the IT idiot, i tried to unscrewed the back cover but failed to open it. Then I decided to meet Dan so he could have a try. Dan, Alex and me went to TPY KFC to have lunch as well as to fix the laptop. Dan took out the rams and tried the various combinations of fitting the rams into different slots but still we could'nt solve in. I got restless because it mean I can't use my laptop!

We stayed till 8+ in TPY before we went home. I immediately went to mum's friend's hse because mum's friend's son is an IT expert. He took could'nt solve the problem as well. He put his ram in and managed to shorten the beep to once, not that it help though. I left home dejected. Haha.

Now I am typing this entry with my 5 years old desktop. It should be a dinosaur in IT age. Tomorrow I'm going down to HP service centre to get it repair. Pray that it could be solved on the same day and it is not expensive.

Paying for a smoother face

I just went for my first facial! Hahah. Went to Ah Hong's aunt shop Beauty Aesthetic at AMK just now with Ys. It was freaking pain la because I got too many deeply clogged pores.

I signed a Purifying (peel) treatment course for $468 - 6 facial treatment plus free 2 facial and 2 eye treatment. But before starting on the treatment, she told me that it would be better if I do this $198 Medibac clearing with ultrasound exfloliating treatment first and it cost only 50% because it is my first time. So i agreed. After the treatment, I was once again pyscho to buy the dermologica products which they used. So I bought this Medibac clearing kit for $79.20 and it is pretty small that it probably would'nt last for 1 month or so.

Anyway, I can already feel the smoothness of my skin while washing my face just now. lol. Hope it stays the same from today onwards.

Martin's dessert Us We actually entered the restaraunt 1 hour before the supposedly arrival of the coach. And the food came late so we had to rush our food in like 10 mins. The waitress was surprised when we asked for the bill when our food was served. We sort of jogged out of the restaraunt after finishing our meal. Haha. We then went to take the taxi stand and asked for the price back to our hotel. The suckers quoted Rm25 while our cab fare earlier on from hotel to Pavilion was only Rm5. I told him that and he sarcastically told me to go take my Rm5 taxi. Anyway we then walk quickly down the road and luckily got our taxi running on meter. The coach was nonwhere to be seen and so we went to take some pictures

Half an hour later, the bus still didn't come. So I called them and the person don't even know what is happening. She called back 15mins later and told me that the coach is caught in a massive jam and will only arrive by 5pm. With nothing to do, we went Starbucks to chill.Kx using the 707 sticker to act as a watch

Spot the differences here too. Haha The person called again some time later to say another coach will arrived by 5pm. But it came only at 525pm. Then we are off on our way back to Singapore. We stopped by the Kim restaraunt for our dinner and to purchase some local products. Finally we are going home!

Anyway we witness a funny incident at the Singapore custom. An old man in his 50s or 60s decided that he should cut the queue since he is alone and old. Apparently, the person behind didn't think so and he shouted loudly "Police, this man want to cut queue. Please send somebody here". Meanwhile, another man also asked the old man not to cut queue but he was met with vulgarities. Nobody came, so the first man shouted for the police again. After sometime, a policeman came and escort the old man away to join another queue perhaps. Everybody then cheered and clapped. Haha. Before the old man left, he smilingly pointed the middle finger and scolded some vulgarities.

After passing though the automatic clearance system, we have to have our bags checked. Sadly, I was caught with 2 packets of chewing gums. The custom officer was so happy (maybe he get commision for it) that he caught me and shouted some codeword to his partner. His partner then escort me to the office to take down my particulars and to throw away the gums.

We reach the Queens St interchange around 12 plus and went for supper before heading home. After washing up, I wrote a feedback letter to 707 regarding the lousy communication between them and the coach drivers. If I had not called them, I wondered if they know that the coach will be late. Till then, I still have not received a reply. Therefore 707 is now condemned.

Day 2

After breakfast, we are off to our first trip of the day to Batu Cave. We took a maxi cab that could fit 6 of us and for RM100, he would bring us to Batu Cave and later on to KLCC. It was quite expensive as the trip was not as far as the driver had told us.

Went to Starbucks to chill first,
then we went to shop before having our lunch at A&W.We then took the LRT for our next trip - KL towerAfter we got down, we walked for at least 20 mins before we reach the base of the tower. In the mean time, Martin have to piss at this toilet facing the main road.We shouted open sesame and it opened (with coins slotted in of course, haha)Martin give the Victory sign before disappearing behind the closed door Shagged after walking for so longLuckily there was a shuttle bus to send us up, if not we will definitely be cursing and swearing.

Petronas TowerSince we don't have much plans, we decided to stay till the evening so we can take some night pictures from the tower. While waiting, we went swimming pool hunting. We used the powerful binoculars to look at all the swimming pools within sight from the tower. Sadly to say, no girls to see. LOL!

Then it's time for dinner. We took a cab to chinatown to find the bak kut teh Kx, Mel, Dg and me ate few yrs back. But the place had since changed and we lazily asked 1 hawker where is the nearest bkt. At the store, we ordered bkt and vinegar pig trotters and both sucks totally. The soup is too salty and there is not much meat on the pig trotters. We then walked the whole stretch of Chinatown before going back to our hotel. Feeling physically full but not mentally satisfied, we went for some KFC.

It was freaking jammed at the custom. After a few hours, we stopped at this Kim Guan place for a break. I was quite surprised it's pretty clean, unlike in the past where flies were aplenty. Half an hour later, we are back on the bus to our hotel in KL.

We had no idea why there were so many policemen. But their presence sure do create jams along the stretch.

At around 3pm, we finally reach our hotel - The Legends (5 stars leh! haha). Checked in 2819 and 2820 and realised they only prepare for double sharing. Hong call the reception and told them that we booked the rooms for trple sharing and to open the door separating our 2 rooms. After we had our rest, we went to take the LRT to start our shopping.

It is so old and has probably nothing that will interest us. Therefore we decided not to shop there. Bought the very cheap Auntie Anne's pretzel before we left. It's only RM3.60 - more than 2.times what we paid in Singapore.

It was Lot 10 after that. There was not much people and we wonder where the hell the people are on a Friday night.

With 10pm approaching, we left on taxi for the Eye on Malaysia - ferris wheel. The driver told us that there was nothing much to see and true enough, it sucks.

The Lions became the cat today. Whipped 7-3, Singapore chances at qualifying for the World Cup 2010 are fading rather sadly. Precious the Nigeria turned Singaporean made so many mistakes Titus Shambles (the clown of Newcastle United fame, now entertaining the Wigan fans with his comical falls and own goals) would be proud of. Our GK Lionel Lewis the Tiger Cup 2004 MVP was also like fuck. He had to make a simple punch look so difficult. The arrogant prick must be so ashamed of himself for punching a corner into his own net.

However on the bright side, we did get our money worth, 80cents per goal and aprox. a goal every 9 mins. Very cheap indeed.

a very FULLfilling vesak day

day started with ckchew picking me up then wenchuan and then rabbit
went to changi village there for breakfast.... carrot cake and butterfly...
then walk over to changi jetty to wait for kenny and gf
after they came..we waited another 10-20mins b4 we left for our main event of the day... seafood lunch at pengaran, malaysia.
boat ride was a 45mins one.. and a very hot one too ...
reach pengaran and took a Rm18 cab ride to the good luck restaraunt.
we had butter and steam lobster, cereal prawn, vegetable, fish, oyster omelette, moutain pig, and fried rice. so much for around 27sgd per person.
since its vesak day, alot of taxi drivers did not work...
so the kind aunty at the restaraunt called some pte cars to come pick us up its another Rm18 back to the jetty... it was a very long wait... like 1hr plus....
we were so happy when it was our turn... another humid ride back to changi jetty..
kenny and gf left first... the 4 of us then went to expo to eat some macau style food..
then we went for our first time at the fish therapy at Qianhu fishfarm...
its $10 for 30mins.... there are 3 ponds with 2 small fishes pond and 1 bigger fish pond... we tried 15mins each at the small and bigger fish pond.... it was quite ticklish and more shiok when bitten by the bigger fish .... last event of the day was dinner at jalan kayu roti prata... i had mee goreng, shared cheese mushroom prata and rojak...

and now im fucking FULL!!

we had dinner at spageddies at paragon.
after that we went to harrys @ demsey to chill out. it was the my first time at demsey area and i must say the darkness make the place very special.
it was 11+ b4 we decided to go KTV at partyworld at tanjong pagar there.
everybody was like jumping ard and shouting during some songs cept jl and sz who was slping. hahaha.
although we all spend quite abit, i think it was well worth it.

ytd was a pretty tiring day...but it was fun
i met jq at 530 to walk walk and eat first
then ard 7+ we went to fort canning green for Incubus concert even though i did not listen to much Incubus music and not even 1 Saosin song..
the opening act was by Saosin which i tink had a better interaction with the crowd.... but it was pretty obvious who the crowd came for... many ppl came at 8+ because they knew that Saosin's performance gonna last 1 hr .... Incubus performance was ok.. just that their music sometimes overwhelmed the lead singer's voice... Overall i would say it was a good concert..
the concert ended around 10+ and we went to Mcdonalds at ps for a quick bite..
after that i met the soccer guys for clubbing at zouk...
clubbing will be fun if you go with the right company... and ytd i really had fun~ hahaha
kx hong mel sz corina and me cab down to zouk at outram mrt.... and fucking hell that cab driver cheat my money... he charge me extra $3 CBD charge... i only found out later that kx mel and hong who were in the other cab that they were not charge... these taxi drivers should be sacked!!
anyway we went in ard 1150 and quickly went to order our drinks b4 the 141 promotion ended at 12.... we just stood around the 2nd floor ...chatting ... looking around and at times throw little pieces of ice to the dancefloor ... i tink hong even threw a piece of orange slice ... LOL....we only went to the dancefloor around 2am.. and we dance till 3+ b4 we left... den we went to 401 for supper b4 heading home at 5+... now my legs are aching ...

today was my first time prawning and it was fun! and it was quite funny trying to hold down the prawns' pincers becoz we didnt wan to be poke by it and it kept jumping ard when we tried to hold it down... rick dan ys nise alex and me went to the bishan golf course there for prawning after skoo... it was quite expensive at $15 per rod but if we took 3 hrs it will be only $30.. we took 4 rods for $120 and share among the 5 ppl..whereas alex came late and got another rod... after prawning, we took our prawns to the seafood place bside and ask them to cook for us... and we paid like $16.10 juz for the samba prawns.. the prawns was pretty tasty...... next time when i i go ...i must catch more to make my money worth... hah

im back from taipei~! and damn suey la.... got sick on the last day...

day 1:

3 of us share a cab to T1 for our flight... after checking in (we were given paper slips as our air tix... no wonder they are call budget airline.. haha) ... went to T3 to look look... very big ... went for lunch at burger king then went for departure ... 1pm exactly we are off to taipei...woo~ the flight took ard 4hrs plus... and finally we are in taipei~ damn... i was freezing and shivelling all the way ....... standing at the departure counter... we saw that everybody was wearing a few layers and only dan and me was wearing bermudas.....then we went to get our bus tix to the hotel... the bus company is call fei gou ...and guess what ....its call free go ...stupid name... anyway it was fucking jammed on the highway and we took like 1 hr plus to reach our hotel at ximending..... gd location... after resting for a while..we went to walk ard... jq and me got the same pair of converse jack purcell shoes... 70+ quite cheap... but sadly i got half a size smaller becoz i tried only on my right foot and my left foot is actually bigger.... we went back to our hotel to rest somemore then we head to luxy to club! we heard so much abt luxy that it was pretty disappointing when we were there... there was not much people ...and we chatted with the drinks promoter and she said that saturday will have more people... the only thing good is that they have 4 hot dancers performing a few times the whole night... left the place ard 2+

day 2:

went for breakfast at mcdonalds coz there is not much to eat in xmd early in the morning. we then went to zhongxiao area for shopping... some of the shops we planned were not opened.. we went shops like undercover, leftfoot, s.o.l, phantaci and a few others... then we went further down to bape which is very very disappointing... but i guess is becoz of the season also... so there is no t-shirt... we then went dinghao plaza or sth ... which is like an old building and most of the stuff are for gers....had our dinner at some chinese restarunt then went SOGO to shop...got a bag at muji for 300nt only... i juz buy for fun.. haha ... jq also buy 1 ... thats y we r best friend... we buy the same thing... lol .. then we went back xmd...went to a shop called apery ...according to some reviews that jq checked...the salesgers are hot chicks and the stuff they stock good stuff and good price... however i find that the stuff are displayed as if they are cheap stuff and mind u ... some of the tshirts cost over 100... they also sell some xiao zhu's 2nd hand tshirt... we left the shop and went nearby to find xiao zhu's shop Stage... there was nth much to see .. went back to our hotel to rest... then we went to huaxi night market... tried out the snake soup... the snake meat taste like chicken... after sometime we left for room18... there was not much people when we reached there... we were quite sian coz we tot it will be like luxy ... but it was good and very packed! there was dancers also though the one at luxy are better.... the music there was good as well... alot of the songs were not those mainstream hiphop/rnb songs but there are good still.. left ard 3plus .

day 3

had our breakfast at one of the shop in xmd... had mincemeat rice and osyter egg...then we went to some of the places at taipei cityhall area..went to shopping centers like xin guang mitsukoshi (they have 4 buildings next to each other..crazy), newyorknewyork (boring), neo19 (where room18 is...but there is only food over there) and 101... the lift was damn fast man...we got to the 88th floor in less than 1 min... sadly the view was obscured due to the mist... we walk around and checked out the damper which help stabilised the building... got some souvenirs and left... cab down to wufenpu ... damn.... most of the shops sell female stuff... we just walked abit and walked to raohe night market... i must say it is one of the longest night market ........we just keep walking without stopping much and we took at least 30mins... then we went shilin night market to eat the famous chicken cutlet... we went to look for a toilet first and came to the arcade place... dan and me tried the rodeo riding machine...keep getting knocked off.... then 3 of us played the bumper car.... after that ..we went for food hunt.....tried to find a yellow sign selling chicken cutlet but couldnt.. we ended up with a shop with a long que and we tot maybe they changed their signs... went back to xmd and had some deserts... and slp

day 4:

we had breakfast at mcdonalds again... went back to hotel to surf the net for a while then we left for yangmingshan..... took a bus there....it was freaking cold... luckily dan lend me his pullover... we saw the visitor sign and followed it... 600m upslope of trail later... we reach the visitor center... and the visitor center is not even open on monday... wanted to go for some scenic decks .. but the one we saw was 1.7km away!!! wtf...then we jus walk ard abit and saw this small cave where we took some pictures... took a bus down to the mrt station and then we cab back to zhongxiao area for more shopping...this time round...we went to quite a no. of shops that we missed when we were there on day 2... jq and dan got themselve a tshirt a s.o.l. ... the sales staff was damn good and we even took a picture with him ... haha... we then went to CTV for the wo cai recording... it was the chinese new yr edition .... the guests are hei se hui mei mei and 4 gers from xin guan bang season 2... the guest host is ya zi ( shes damn cute!!) .. the recording was ard 20mins and it was done... we were confused when everybody started leaving... then we heard there will be more recording later... guess they need to change the settings... anyway we didnt wait and we left for miramar entertainment center to take the ferris wheel... cab back to xmd for buffet... although we are allowed to order any items thrice...we were full by the 2nd time... the only good thing is free flow of haagen daaz icecream... however the nite wasnt that good
jq was vomitting and had diarrhoea while i had soarthroat and slight fever...

day 5:

still sick... we call up the desk to extend our checkout timing by 2hrs... it cost 200nt and hour... so its like $9+ an hour... waste our whole day in the hotel slping... took the bus at ard 2pm to the airport... we were early as we tot our flight was 540pm...it was 620..pm.. with 1 hr for the counter to open ...we went to get some food... jq and me still sick could eat much .....i juz ate all the vegetables in my soup noodle....we went to check in at 430pm .... then we bought like $200+ of local products among ourselves... then we waited and the departure hall ... i was feeling fucking cold and shivering... so i juz cower on the seat... ard 6+ we finally got on the plane... 11+ we reached singapore and home sweet home~

when u tink of sth unfortunate has not happen to u for a long time...it is gonna happen to u ...
i was tinking i have not been injured for a long time and even so it had not been serious... but now my leg is swollen from ytd soccer match...
ytd my team PFC wore our new jersey for the first time.... this yr is our 10th anniversary already!~ and yeah we won 3-1..... this time round we have almost everybody back ... even jialaong and sizhe from taiwan... the field was very fuckup .... very hard and uneven... i sprained my ankle early in the first half when a guy kicked me... the referee was fuckup as well... came late and then played only 40mins per half.... after the match we decided not to pay the normal $90 per team.... becoz firstly the field was fuckup and then the referee was late...then he claimed that the standard was 40mins....though i have not play alot of matches b4... every match i played was 45mins per half.... we then argued with that fuckup referee and then he bo bian ...call the owner to tok to us.... sz quarrelled with the owner over the fone and finally compromised over $80 per team ....

evening went to nessa's birthday celebration at her hse.... after the party went to alan's hse to watch soccer... fuck man... another referee spoiled the game.... it was fucking obvious an offside and he allowed the goal for chelsea's winner...damnnn ....

today monday is xmas eve... met up the guys for dinner at kenny rogers at marina square... after that went to skin @ red dot museum for drinks.... we were there last yr for xmas as well...
some young kids organise a party and the place was pretty packed... nice place for chilling out ...

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. i finally got my first distinction ... lol ... and this yr i smoothly finish my sem again ... hahahah got distinction for my major (international finance) credit for ethics&governance and marketing and a pass for strategic management which i fail the project..... every sem i tend to slack more than previous sem .... but my grades seem to get better... hahahaha .....

anyway back to work today... was damn pissed... the fucking rain ..... i had to walk from national heart center to the DDB building which is like 2 to 3 streets away with 2 bags of mails.... and it was raining cats and dogs... my shoe got a hole at bottom and therefore my whole shoe got wet... damn sian...then when i have to return...i had to lug back alot of mails as well......my shoe got even wetter and the lower part of my jeans also got wet..........i was cursing to myself all the way back to office...... reach office then i immediately went toilet to dry my socks with the hand dryer.... sianz.... getting sick of the job liao ... haha

i have been taking mrt to work since last monday and there are alot of different ppl .........
there is the smelly fellow.... and when he stand in front of me ...i juz had to hold my head up and breathe in the fresher air...
there is also the dandruff ger.... if standing behind is not bad enuff.... she had to use her hand to comb her hair and flick in towards me.... walao...damn disgusting la....
then there is the super rusher.... they like to rush in at the lasssssssssst last second... juz nice when the door shut close in their face.... and because of this everybody have to be pushed back to accomodate them.... very disruptive...
okie then there is also the pretty girls which i can beo to make up for the boring journey to work ..... haha

oh ya...i juz checked my timing for the standard chartered marathon... this yr i manage a 6hr 1min ...... though i had a better start for the first 21km...i still did slightly worst than last yr... probably its due to not training for it.....

some updates since my last post...

have been working since monday .... was doing some QC job for the mystery shop company from monday to wed... then thurs started a new job at national heart centre.... will be doing til dec 21 when the person i replaced come back from his ict... doing some despatch job there...collecting and delivery mails to different buildings...

oh..i finally receive my ict call up...which will be next yr june for 12 days... juz nice after i grad do ict then find job.. provided i never fail any modules . hahah...

tml is the standard chartered marathon!! my 3rd marathon consecutively and hopefully i dun do very badly since i have not being training .... my last run was ahm which was like 3 mths ago... gotta slp early later ...have to wake up at 330... alrite..till next update..

this time its dota and facebook ...fb has been very addictive due to the number of games to play ... im currently hooked on human pets, petrolhead and onetrack..... although its juz clicking here and there, its still pretty much fun.....

i just have to rant about this stupid taxi driver.... i shared a cab with weiling from vivo... first stop was weiling's hse at woodlands....then on the way back to my home... he went all the way wrong ... even though im not very sure with the way ...i noe he either had to go by CTE amk or lentor .... i was half slp half awake during the ride and when i woke up i was at mei hwan drive.... why the fuck he till till there which means he have to go pass amk ave3 (which is the correct way) to exit at amk ave1..... he went straight to reach the upper serangoon part... but guess what ....he went straight again without turing into upper serangoon and went to hougang ave 1 ....fuck sia...then he go 1 big round and reach near st 22 and ask me whether is it st 22 ...how the fuck ave 2 sounds like street 22 .... when the i reach my place....the fare came to $35.20 ...... i gave him $40 and he rtn $5 .....he should have at least gif me some discount lor.... and worst he didnt even apologies...

anyway back to earlier on... met weiling and miaojuan for dinner... they wanted to treat me for a belated birthday dinner.... we went to Modesto at vivo.... we had calamari...a pizza....1 big share pasta and 1 tiramisu... and the total bill came up to 90+ after discount from using uob credit card... Thanks to Weiling and Miaojuan for the dinner... then we walk around vivo going to the gv counter to collect her gv movie club card.... i also collected mine ... then we decided to catch a show... we watched mr woodcock... quite funny but its very short.... miaojuan took a bus home....weiling and i ...took the stupid cab home...

Depression can kill and it just took a friend away....

Sam was the ultimate guy... responsible, filial, kind and helpful
he was well like in camp.... the energizer we call him becoz he can run and run during basketball games and not get tired (even though he had some heart problems)...
i knew him b4 he came to the same unit as me.... and coincidentally he became my understudy..
it was with him.... that my army life become better.... things that were tasked by my superiors were not done until Sam came.. at times, i dun feel like doing and ask Sam to take it easy... but he will still continue to do... he was too responsible to slack too much.... during free time during working hours, we played ping pong with the technicians in our office, using 2 tables formed together.... after sometimes, another understudy came (the worst u can ever haf)... Sam moved to our OC's office to be OC personal assistant.... At times, he work late and cannot join us for games after office hours.. becoz he is responsible.....
also everybody like him, becoz he always help when asked....

at home.... Sam was the filial son and 2nd in the family of 4 brothers... his mum is sick and Sam has to bring his mum to hospital for checkups everytime... he once told another friend that he also wish to be like us; watch movie or go out walk walk etc during his free time... but he cant, becoz he have to be at home to look after his mum...

few mths ago... Sam ORDed....and now he has to enter the work force and support his family... our OC introduce him a job....he didnt stay long becoz he didnt like the job... he soon got another job... it was stressful and doesnt pay well....

a week ago, he tried to commit suicide at home....luckily he was stopped... he was warded at imh for depression....he could hear ppl toking to him.... last fri...his condition was better and he was warded at ttsh..... he occasionally had headaches and could hear ppl toking to him again... on sat... he couldnt take it anymore... he hanged himself...

maybe it is a release for him.....

hopefully he find a better afterlife...

the result of not training.... approx 2hrs50mins at the army half marathon... 2km into the run, my right calf became too tight...and i had to stop...to walk... soon..im walking and jogging.....after finishing, went to collect bag with brother... fucking helll....they sux big time.... had to wait an hour to get my bag.... fucking no system..no organisation......super messy... some ppl who were infront still did not get their bags when i left....fucking stupid....

anyway jq caught the running bug...after signing up for terry fox run last wk...we are going to register for the swisshotel the stamford vertical marathon.... a freaking $32....

Ytd was a slack day...

i only did 2 jobs... i started off the day going to tpy central.... then i head off to somerset to meet justin. then we went to cuppage center.... damn funny... isaw another couple holding the same camera that we used.... we decided its too obvious then we head down to PS... at PS i got cold feet and decided to come another day... lol ...while waiting for justin's turn, we saw the same couple again and another 1 more mystery shopper... we chatted with him and found out that his hand bandage is actually fake so he can conceal his camera... haha... after justin finished, we went to vivo ....this time, i tried my handphone.... i only realise im able to take rather long video by changing the settings... anyway...for whatever reason, the video stopped 10secs into waiting... after i finish then i realise there is no video of the whole process... i went back to ask the guy 1 more question while filming it... hopefully it helps... then i went back to office to transfer some of the videos....

nite was clubbing nite! haha ... another gay nite.... 4 guys...weiling suppose to come wif her girlies (but i guess she told her friends too late so they couldnt make it) met jq and eric and ps ...then we decided to take a cab down...fucking wait for 1 hr b4 we call cab......those fuckers cfm must be waiting for call ....becoz at once...3 citycab came as the same time ..... all on call... anyway we reach zouk ard 10+ ......queue super long...once again...didnt manage to get into phuture... always like that ...sad... anyway queue move pretty fast and so we went in .....me and jq was juz standing by the wall talking and after sometime weiming came (in between, eric msg to say very packed, and he leave with his friend to meet other friends for supper) ... we were still standing there when we realise its 1am liao ....mambo really not for us...haha...ard 2 we went to eat b4 going back ... went to dance till 3+ when the lights came on ....went home, bath and then surf net for a while b4 i slp...

today i woke up at 2pm! slp until song... did my reports and then cab down to century square.. simply too lazy to take a bus.... anyway did my job and went to nearby TM for another 3 jobs... then head home... 10 more jobs to go!

Day 2

Ytd was very tiring... we went to 8 places.
was suppose to meet justin at bugis at 10...
i decided to go earlier as i take 147
so i can go and pray at 4 horse road first. haha..
then we went for our first 2 jobs at bugis....after that we went marina
justin's job was at millenia walk... so we walk from marina to millenia walk..
along the way we saw kenko spa... and decided to indulge in some massage...
$38 for 30mins of massage... the feet one was alrite...but the shoulder massage is fucking pain.... i woke up today even more pain... after that we finish suntec area then go UOB centre for another 2 jobs ....b4 heading to town for a few other jobs......then we took a cab home so that we can play mj at my hse... hahah ... after i left the cab .... i realise my hp is not wif me...
then i ran home and immediately call my hp... it was on silent mode...
luckily i had xfer my contact list to my comp ...and i call justin to tell him my fone was wif him ...
ytd after mj ...i type my reports and then go to slp...

gonna hit town again for few other jobs later...
